Over the years, Roulotte Chaudière has adopted processes and procedures to standardize the preparation of each vehicule from manufacturers, as soon as they are received.
To achieve this, we have developed an inspection program before the customer takes possession of his unit. This 75 points inspection program is one of the components that stems directly from the implementation of Lean Management (in 2019) followed by the implementation of the intelligent mechanical workshop officially launched in 2020. These new working methods make it possible to digitally store all the documentation related to all recreational vehicules that pass through Roulottes Chaudière.
This approach requires that each technician be equipped with a pre-programmed electronic tablet in order to follow a logistics check of the entire structure of the vehicule and all its components so that nothing is left to chance. It allows our employees to archive in the RV’s file all the findings and fixes, if any, that were noted during the inspection program before the customer takes possession. These factors are crucial to our success and our efficiency in dealing with manufacturers in our warranty and insurances files.
Roulottes Chaudière, a story of passion
Founded in 1997 by industry enthusiasts, eager to share the outdoor lifestyle on a large scale, Roulottes Chaudière was established in Lévis (on the South Shore of Québec City). While the desire to escape and discover the world is more than omnipresent, the entire team uses its skills and energy to ensure its customers a seamless and personalized experience. This is why Roulottes Chaudière has chosen to specialize in the sale of a wide variety of new and pre-owned products, adaptating to a types of travelers: trailers, tent trailers and fifth wheel caravans.
It’s thanks to the careful attention paid to its customers that the company reaps the fruits of its hard work and allows itself, in 2009, to move into a new building, still located in Lévis and facing Highway 20. This new and huge building can hold up to 70 exhibits, allowed Roulottes Chaudière to offer the largest parts and accessories store in Canada; not to mention the 12 work stations of the new maintenance and repair workshop,
It’s in 2012 that the torch is passed on to a new administration just as passionate. This new team quickly put its expertise to work, allowing the company to be the custodian of the best product lines in the industry. The key to success: offering quality products by a qualified and competent staff who care about customer service.
Now widely recognized in the recreational vehicule industry across Québec, Roulottes Chaudière is on a roll and settles in Alma in 2019. The Lac-Saint-Jean region benefits from a newly renovated dealership offering renowned brands such as Wildwood, Flagstaff, No Boundaries, Surveyor, R-Pod and many more. This new dealership also allows, like the one in Lévis, access to a large inventory of parts and the expertise of experienced specialists in all areas, from purchase to maintenance, including RV repair.
